4-Way Arbitrage Calculator. Surebet
What is 4-Way Arbitrage?
4-Way Arbitrage is a betting strategy where you place bets on all four possible outcomes in specific sports or events, ensuring a profit regardless of the result. This method is commonly used in sports like tennis (where a set bet includes four options) or in certain betting markets with extended outcomes.
How Does It Work?
Arbitrage exists if:
(1 / Odds 1) + (1 / Odds 2) + (1 / Odds 3) + (1 / Odds 4) < 1
If the total is below 1, a risk-free betting opportunity arises.
Example Calculation
For a tennis set bet, the odds from different bookmakers are:
- Player A wins 2-0 → 3.00
- Player A wins 2-1 → 4.50
- Player B wins 2-0 → 3.20
- Player B wins 2-1 → 4.40
Step 1: Check for Arbitrage
(1 / 3.00) + (1 / 4.50) + (1 / 3.20) + (1 / 4.40) = 0.972 → Arbitrage exists.
Step 2: Calculate Stakes (for a $100 total bet)
- Player A 2-0: $32.43
- Player A 2-1: $21.62
- Player B 2-0: $31.25
- Player B 2-1: $22.70
Step 3: Calculate Profit
- Any outcome gives a return of around $102-$103, ensuring a $2-$3 profit.
