System 2/3 Bet: Meaning and Example Calculation

A System 2/3 bet consists of 3 selections, forming 3 separate 2-fold accumulators (parlays). To win, at least 2 selections must be correct. The total stake is divided equally among the 3 combinations.

How Does a System 2/3 Bet Work?

  • You choose 3 different selections in your bet.
  • The system automatically creates 3 different 2-fold accumulators (parlays).
  • At least 2 selections must be correct to secure a return.
  • The total stake is divided equally among the 3 accumulator bets.

Example Calculation

You place a $10 total bet on a System 2/3, meaning $3.33 per combination.

Scenario 1: All 3 Selections Win

  • All 3 accumulators win, giving the maximum payout.
  • Assuming the odds per selection are 2.00, each winning accumulator pays:
    $3.33 × 2.00 × 2.00 = $13.32
  • Total payout: $13.32 × 3 = $39.96

Scenario 2: Only 2 Selections Win

  • 1 accumulator wins, while the other 2 lose.
  • Winning payout: $13.32
  • Since the total stake was $10, the net profit is $3.32

Scenario 3: Less Than 2 Wins

  • All accumulators lose, and you lose the entire $10 stake.
